Well, if you're going to do it, I guess...

Amazing Spider-Man 2 (Amazing Spider-Men?): My 2nd 2014

Amazing Spider-Man3: June 10th 2016

Amazing Spider-Man 4 (Resurrection?): May 4th 2018

Hope this pans out into a good series (I certainly lapped up the first one)...hope Garfield sticks around, hope Horner is on board again....but can't help the nagging feeling that Sony haven't learned their lesson and are putting rather too much in part 2...wonder if people will lose interest? Ah well, I'll pay my money and go and see...

I feel like they're going to Avengers it. I suspect many of the villains recently announced are going to be cameos here, introduced so they're not coming out of nowhere for the big Sinister Six even in #3 or 4.

I honestly didn't care much for the first one, although I liked Garfield. Jamie Foxx alone will keep me away from the second one.

I don't expect Horner to return, though. I read that he was only barely able to be talked into doing the first one. I'm not sure why he seemed reluctant, but it definitely sounded like him returning for sequels was more than unlikely.

Whatever happened to the good old days when a studio would make a film, then announce its release date?

2018??? Wow, so looks like studios have the next 5 years locked up with their franchises.

In the late 50s and 60s the B- or C-movie studios would announce a title, check the teeny boppers response and then would start making the picture so the good old days are further back than you're likely to think.

Jamie Foxx alone will keep me away from the second one.

What's wrong with Jamie Foxx?

Simply cannot stand him.

The last movie had all the forward momentum of standing in line at the Department Of Motor Vehicle and the dramatic content of John Henry Timmis's The Cure For Insomnia.

Two more of these after the next one?
