The British film magazine Empire is in my mind the best film magazine that I can get my hands on here in Sweden. Anyway I usually tries to solve their crossword and it usually takes me about 45 minutes to do that. However the crossword in their latest issue was apparently way too easy because I solved it on somewhere between 5-10 minutes. That must be a record for me.

So how many of you on this board reads Empire? How many of you tries to solve their crossword? Do you usually solve it and if so how long time does it take for you?

Ive read Empire since issue 1 but I've never done the crossword.

I actually don't think the magazine is the same level of quality it was 10 years ago. I can't put my finger on why, but I honestly prefer Total Film these days.

I buy Empire on a semi-regular basis. I have tried the crossword on several occasions, but only get about two-thirds of the way through.

I don't read Empire regularly. (Apparently, it takes about a month for new issues to arrive on newstands here, by which time the next issue is already out in England!) But I'll pick up a random issue here and there if it has something interesting I'd like to check out.

I've bought it so rarely I didn't even remember it had a crossword puzzle! I enjoy doing those, however, so I'll have to get out the last issue I bought (with the John Carpenter/Kurt Russell interview) and give it a go. smile

I started bying Empire in 1994 (Speed - Mary Shelly's Frankenstein era) but stopped in 2001 since most of the stuff I can get online.

But I miss their "How much is a Pint of Milk" column.

I rember buying my first issue with Keanu Reeves on the cover because the magazine included a soundtrack collection CD.
