RED DESERT is Antonioni at his most boring! brm What? Not "Zabriskie Point"? Hmm. Upon reflection, maybe ZP isn't so bad. I said "boring" not "bad"

So bad and boring, I almost walked out of (that I remember recently(: "Men In Black II" "Star Trek: Nemesis" Even that Godawful joystick piloting in "Star Trek: Insurrection", didn't drive me out of the theater, even when that female officer looked at him like "Oh, yeah -- grab that joystick!".

As far as big movies go, Escape from LA was it for me. The only reason I went at the time was to see the Star Trek First Contact trailer. The internet back then wasn't what it is now, so I wanted to see the trailer in all its glory. I left about halfway through. Just total nonsense. I'd say about ten years ago, I went to an indie with my wife called Sunshine State. I zoned out for the entire movie. After we left, I asked her, "What was that movie about?" Terrible. I know this is slightly unrelated, but my worst *experience* ever at the movies was when I was in high school. I went to see Schindler's List on a date. Seriously...on a date. It seemed like a good idea at the time because we both were Spielberg fans and enjoyed history. After the movie ended, my date cried all the way to the car thinking about what she saw. She never called me again.

Ninety minutes of absolute tedium. btw I think we should change the title of this thread to include home video. TLDC is on Criterion dvd. brm ps yeah, we know you LOVED it Thor and Mark lol! brm
