Yeah, I remember that although overall I prefer Silvestri's score for the sequel, I think.

... probably not something you'd have included though... (the 3rd I guess isn't considered a western, probably)

Yes, I find Rabin's western music more interesting than Zimmer's from Lone Ranger.

Wow! all my favorites are already there.

I can only two I would add personally:

BTW Thanks for all this bombast!
I know much of this doesn't settle in well for some people who have tinnitus.

He, he...good point about the tinnitus. It's actually been worse lately. But sometimes, you need to go 'uptempo'.

THE BIG COUNTRY was actually on my list, but I eventually omitted it because I need to keep the episode to approximately one hour (it's now 1 hour 16 minutes). BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID was also there, along with a long list of contenders.

So much great stuff; so difficult to boil down to some classics, some lesser known and some variety in the musical expressions.

You boiled it down to a good mix.

Well, I must admit that I had expected this latest episode to be the big "breakthrough" episode of my webcast, given the big name, but apparently not. Maybe people have been jaded by too many Zimmer interviews over the years; and the fact that I didn't do a personal interview in this case?

Is there another way to listen to this? As a download? Cause I can't.....

It doesn't play. Could just be the network at my work. But I'll try it again when I get home. If you make it into a podcast/mp3 format, it'd be golden for me.

Unfortunately, I can't do podcasts or downloadable mp3s -- only streaming webcasts. It's a copyright issue, since I play whole music clips.

But in this case, I can make an exception, because I got the broadcast permission to the Q&A from the festival office.

So you can download this particular program at http://celluloidtunes.no/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/celluloidtunes22.mp3 for a limited period of time.
