Some interesting (and sad) discussion in this thread. I was listening to this score again today and it's a lot of fun. Thanks again to Quartet for putting it out! I do have a question, though: the liner notes have the following comment: "...a clever play on the American National Anthem, heard during a motif for unscrupulous defense contractor R.J. Hacker (Elmer's 'Hacker', Peter's 'Hacker Dies')." Clearly the cue sheets indicated who composed each cue, so I found it very frustrating that this is the only mention of credit for who did what. There is no mention anywhere else in the notes that I could see, nor does the back cover have an asterisk or anything denoting what cues Elmer or Peter did. I guess it's not the most important thing in the world, but I'd really like to know who wrote what on this score. The other father/son teaming released in the past few years, GNP's complete Star Trek: First Contact, identified which cues were written by who (although there was an asterisk typo on the back cover for that one, it was correct in the track-by-track notes). So Quartet, if you're reading, is there any chance you could just make that info available on your website by any chance? Then I can correctly credit each track in my iTunes... Yavar

Yavar I agree it's frusterating, not just for this release but quite a lot of them. Especially when there's an 'additional music by' credit on there. Of course I also wish they'[d denote which tracks have chorus and soloists and who orchestrated what (the write up for Superman The Movie on the FSM box notes the orchestrators....if only others did), When I did my tagging of this disc though, I managed to extract tracks 3, 4, 7 and 26 as Elmer and 5, 6, 15 and 17 as Peter. Unsure exactly why, but something in the liner notes must have hinted toward it.
