Unless I'm very mistaken, my understanding is that by this point we pretty much have what TNG music we're going to get.

All told, that is over 30 hours of music from the show available. While there may be some disappointments here and there (I personally would have loved the teaser from “The Wounded” when Troi senses O'Brien's sentiments about the Cardassians, for example), I have to say that on the whole I am pretty happy with what we got, and rather glad that La La Land didn't have much overlap with the GNP Crescendo albums, as it broadens what was covered.

The GNP Volumes 3 and 4 do not sound particularly bad (the original “The Best of Both Worlds” did to my ears, however, but the new edition completely solves that problem), they just aren't mixed quite the same way as the FSM and La La Land releases.

According to MV, in about a year or so, there will be a 4-CD set containing one disc of "leftovers" from each of the four modern "Trek" shows. So you're not very mistaken, just a little. But yes, I agree with your larger point: Thirty hours (thirty-one, eventually) is nothing to sneeze at.

Thanks, Josh. I guess I've got to at least track down GNP's Volume 3 to round out my TNG collection.

Yep, if you're a fan of the show and McCarthy's music in particular, you should certainly track down Volume 3. "Yesterday's Enterprise" and "Hollow Pursuits" are both worth having, in addition to the "Sarek Fades Away" cue from "Unification Part 1". Back in the early 90's, we had so little music from the show, as was the standard then, and so I really had treasure whatever we got released on album. For me as a huge TNG fan, these 4 volumes (plus the two "Best Of" collections they did in '96 and '00) from GNP were always go-to listens.

There are only three unrleased tracks I'd really like to add to my TNG collection. The opening battle and Data's victory from the episode "Redemption Part 2" and one track from "Time's Arrow Part 2" where Picard sends a message through time via data's head.
