It might be more Zanelli then Zimmer but if I like it I can care less. Also really love how the composer put the Tell overture through so many permutations and made it an action track. IE, "Don't buy the digital download version everyone - our CD version will be longer!" Intrada likely had nothing to do with the album program. That'd be my guess as well. I remember either Doug or Roger saying in their forum that Alan Silvestri was excited to have the physical CD version of The Avengers have more score than the digital download version; Maybe Hans Zimmer did not want the physical CD version of Lone Ranger to differ from the digital version. Intrada DOES NOT dictate to Disney. It's a mosquito against a gorilla. The older stuff I don't think Disney cares about as far as what they release. The older releases are the real jewels here for us and Intrada. Though I have no idea if the sales bear that out. Don't forget Hans Zimmer may have had a hand in what gets released as well. And thanks to this deal they can release not only worthless scores like The Lone Ranger but also some real gems from Disney vaults? The last track of the CD is titled Finale, if I'm not mistaken, so I wonder if this is just a remix of that track.
