Seeing that all of these submissive lady-sketches were drawn by men, it is perhaps a reflection of the very real horrors of the society in which we lived back then (the first post is from 2002), I mean sort of like old men drooling over drawings instead of going out and trying to charm real women, or people in general, or farmyard animals, without ending up being sentenced to the electric chair or (worse) banned from the memories of their friends, family and loved ones, if they had any, which is doubtful. Thankfully the world is now a better place, or it would be if this thread were locked and then we were all brainwashed into remembering that it never existed, and then brainwashed into forgetting remembering. There was actually an insurgence of female animators at Disney, Bluth, Amlbin and Dreamworks in the 80's and 90's. Also the "Nine Old Men" weren't always old. Yeah, they were young animators at one time.

Aw, c'mon, the Angels from Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons (who I also liked a lot even when I was pre-teen) and Aqua Marina are PUPPETS! Just 'cause I might agree doesn't mean they count... But with all the Batman Animated talk on here I can't believe no one's mentioned the most obvious (unless I haven't been paying attention): Harley Quinn! Possibly the most successful aspect of it. Anyway here's the guys on the good ship Red Dwarf discussing Wilma and Betty from the Flintstones:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QeDkGnyDv9o
