I was convinced John Debney would get this one (since Summit would have vetoed Mark Kilian, the director's previous regular composer while Debney is a proven composer of indie films as well as adventure movies).
I loved the book but I'm afraid that Card's political opinions (which really went overboard after he wrote the first two books in the series) will overshadow the content (he served as a creative consultant on the film).
FIVE production companies!? SEVEN Executive Producers!? EIGHT Producers!? NO Composer listed?
Insanity!
I take it from that that this film is going to stink. That many people with their fingers in the pie rarely ever produce anything of note.
However, I do look forward to the score from Horner and hope that he can produce something which hasn't been designed by committee like the film appears to have been.
Of course I've not seen the film and am happy to be wrong but seriously, that many producers? What did they all find to do?

It's almost quite possible that some may only be just that, credits, and otherwise had no real involvement. Apparently that can happen quite often.
Either way, I'm just amazed that this thing finally got made and is actually coming out after all this time. Seems like a film adaptation has been in development hell forever.
