'Vendredi ou la Vie Sauvage' is one of my favorite Jarre scores. I've been waiting for a proper CD release for years and now we have it expanded!!!! The samples sound glorious. The song is very good, Alexandra Brown has a beautiful voice, and I like it very much even though I never got used to her very special French and Italian pronounciation that cracks me up everytime I hear it. Strange that Mr. Jarre didn't take the time to practice the French words with her. Probably didn't have the time (there never is enough time when composing for films). At 500 copies this will be a collector's item very soon (unless it will be re-released later of course). Needless to say, ordered mine already! Very happy with this gem.
Always great to see a new Jarre and Delerue title. But when and where are we going to get Jarre's RESURRECTION ? That's my holy grail for Maurice Jarre. Some label....please.

I wonder what are the chances of seeing music from Jean-Claude Petit. I would love to own CD releases of L'ADDITION and LE CAVIAR ROUGE; scores that were featured on the DU RIFIFI AU CINEMA compilation set and I loved the music.
I also would love to see a complete release of L'ADDITION by Jean Claude Petit, and also TRANCHES DE VIE , two very good soundtracks . Can we hope in the future ?
The compilation "Du Rififi Au Ciné " is a wonderful ideas box for releases.
By example, Hubert Rostaing / Ivan Jullien for the movie "Tir Groupé" , A very nice french jazz soundtrack or "Le corps de mon ennemi " by Francis Lai, never relased in CD !
