Anyone have any knowledge of this score? I quite enjoyed it, and felt the music suited the Short Disney film quite well. The film itself is available on YouTube and was intended to be the pilot for a TV series. I'm sure some of you remember a fluppy dogs toyline in the mid-80's.
My curiousity lies in the score, if this is something that Intrada could pursue. And I'm guessing if the special was intended to be a series that there may have been MORE music written for it than what is included in the special.
Just wanted to see if anyone at Intrada thinks there might be room for this score on another Shirley Walker unreleased score similar to the recent release of David Newman's - CONEHEADS / TALENT FOR THE GAME / THE ITSY BITSY SPIDER.
Other Walker Disney projects include THE LOVE BUG TV remake (one of her best unreleased scores IMHO) and her theme park music for Disney Tokyo's MYSTERIOUS ISLAND (I'm just assuming there's more than the single track that's been released already). As I said three years ago, if only!
Noticed this image from the show's opener floating around. This deserves a bump, with Shirley Walker recently being honored in LA for the Women Who Score event.
I'm surprised that Urban Dictionary doesn't have any vulgar definitions for it. Kind of their stock in trade.
While I'd be happy to buy any new Walker albums the labels can get to us, I'm really irrationally angry about the title "Fluppy Dogs," you guys. Thinking about seeking help.
So you all know I've been pawing the Fluppy Dog drums for a while.
Noticed online today that amongst the many Fluppy Dog products that were released there were two books with cassette tapes. At the end of each tape is a song - whether or not these songs would have featured as intro or end credits in the show it was evenutally produced nakes me wonder. Anyways, someone uploaded one youtube recently here:

I'd just like to once again express my interest in John Takis's suggested Shirley Walker at Disney three-fer...if anyone from Intrada is reading this thread! Normally I couldn't care less about The Love Bug (or frickin' Fluppy Dogs of course), but if it's done by Shirley Walker and John vouches for it, I'm sold!
If this ever did see a release I'd imagine that Intrada (if they did it) It would be part of The Special Collection, maybe even time to create the "Nothing is Impossible Collection".
I don't ever see this to get a release unless Netflix saw my suggestive tweet that'd it be prime for a reboot or continuation. I would love to see it produced like it was made in the 80s like Stranger Things.
