Love at First Bite was in my last Intrada order. The rest I grabbed when they were announced. White Fang is overdue for a relisten

Surprised White Fang is going OOP already. Excellent score by two power house composers.

WHITE FANG - Heard the samples and, sorry, but I wasn't grabbed.

RENT-A-COP - By all accounts, this is second-rate Goldsmith...but maybe, I should check out the samples.

LOVE AT FIRST BITE - To me, one of the year's best releases. A very charming comedy score that I cannot recommend highly enough.

Intrada has certainly been clearing out Jerry G. titles lately.

I picked up Rent-a-Cop this go round.

Fortunately I ordered White Fang when they made the OOP announcement for Whispers In The Dark, and I'm not really that fussed for Love At First Bite.

Which leaves this one (I have the original, but it's from the days when Silva Screen licensed Intrada releases - and on vinyl).

And gone. Also a little surprised by the short White Fang lifespan, I admit I haven't listened to it all the way thru yet, but glad I picked it up.

Bloody hell, seriously I left W.F. to this morning as I needed some sleep and now it's gone? I didn't imagine there were that few copies left of it.

Third-rate would be more accurate. Save the money for your Christmas shopping.

It never ceases to amaze me that a score like Baby Secret of the Lost Legend sells out in a day and *never* gets discussed on this board unless it's in the trading post, whereas TBoTB dies a long, lingering death but at least has a few interesting discussion threads.

He, he...the same thing happened with me.

I'm surprised by all of the Goldsmith scores they've cut out rather than allowing to sell out over the past couple months, especially the ones put out more recently like City of Fear and Brotherhood of the Bell. Maybe they want to maintain some variety in their catalogue and they're making way for more new Goldsmith releases (Hoosiers to start out with)?

I wish they didn't have to do this when there's such a glut of releases around.

did WHITE FANG go OOP because it wasn't selling enuf to justify a continued print run????
To those Poledouris fans who passed on this: you have denied yourself a score the quality of which equals or (imho) surpasses CONAN!

that is just pathetic!
shame on you all for not making this a big seller!

I wonder the same about this and several other Intrada titles that have gone OOP lately. Intrada never seems to reveal if a title was a hit/miss or how many copies sold. Yes, I understand it isn't something they're obligated to share, but it would be interesting to know nonetheless. LLL, Kritzerland, and Quartet are pretty open about how well their titles are or aren't selling.

If you play string bass / double-bass / any damn bass, The Brotherhood of the Bell is one of the great "bass" scores. Amazing Goldsmith 70s scoring.

There's a reason we all like Jerry.
