The game seems extremely good. About the music though - in an experience like this, incorporating lengthy open-endedness (open world) as it does, you can`t be too "specific" with music. If you aren`t ambient or abstract enough in your tone, you can wind up driving a player insane with audial repetition.
You`ve got to come up with music that though music, acts more subtly than most. If possible.
This is one of the best scores of the year. Audacious, epic, beautifully referential. I haven't listened to a new Tyler score in years but I'm glad I listened to this. Incredible use of post-rock influence with really fun synthesizer material. Often these score albums for video games feature tracks which drag on a loop, but this one refreshes its material very well.
