It's 64-65 in Los Angeles, with blue skies and a few white clouds. I see that our red and yellow roses are in bloom on one side and the pink and lighter yellow ones on the other. Lots of big fat lemons and the pink peach blossoms have just begun to appear. And the the 2 loquat trees I planted about 6 years ago are very tall and covered with delicious fruit. What a gorgeous day.

And to PhiladelphiaSon, who tells us he LOVES snow, you can have it! Except for cold milk and ice in my sodas, I'm not that much into cold!!!

Took this photo on my walk yesterday morning. 78 Fahrenheit (or 24 Celsius) though it got up to 84 (or 27 Celsius). It's supposed to be about the same today.

Cold and a snowstorm here in mid April, heading for the coldest APRIL around here in years. All part of the warming trend.

I'm dreaming of a white....Thanksgiving?

Yep, it's snowing in central Maryland on Thanksgiving Eve. I'm glad I'm not traveling.

Freezing cold in Oslo with temps at -5 C at the moment. The sad thing is that it will only get colder from here. I hate winter! frown

So why are you not living in Mediterranean climes, hon'? big grin

There's a bunch south of you, plus one in South Africa, another in Australia, and a whole mess of 'em here in California.

Tell me about it!

Guess I'm dreading the hassle of trying to find a job in those places, and everything that comes with it. There really isn't anything holding me back here in Norway.

Well, look at the bright side.

You live in one of the most civilized places on earth.

I am sure you dont have the income inequality of the USA, lack of affordable health care and higher education. Nor do you hafta fear getiing killed by trigger happy p'licemen
smile

Just do what Calvin does, and aim to be a caveman.

Or, since you'll be in sunnier climes, you can expect to be blonde year-round, right? That means you automatically qualify to be a beach bum, teach tennis, or clean pools. smile

Everyday poetry, in a way:

If I hadn't known personally the person who took this picture, I would have thought it was Photoshopped.

Thanks, Thor.

Here in Miami it's 55 (or 12 Celsius), cool, dry, with a light breeze. Ahh....

Thanks for the reminder. I had forgotten about that piece of everyday poetry last winter.
