KKL was not a great movie, c-level. But when I've listened to Scott's music that's really a class-act, its haunting & an emotional ride that's beautifully vibrant & sad, thee material soars way above the visuals.
Giving this a re-spin, due to recent FSM thread chat. Unmistakeable John Scott, with echoes of GREYSTOKE bleeding through at times. A classic case of Goldsmith-style inspiration for this one from Scott. Although the film JS saw in spotting is probably close to the one we saw when released, thankfully, he scored the one in his head, when he went off to write and record it, ala Goldsmith. And we are all very thankful for that.
