I had or have the theme on this LP. It is somewhere I hope in storage.

On the same page, you'll find an interesting note from George Patterson on the formation of his folk group, the Wellingtons, which backed Terry Gilkyson on the Scarecrow song.

The 2008 DVD set presents the song and Shurmann's score in Dolby 5.1 sound, and together with the video component, the 3-episode "The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh" TV broadcast (in widescreen for the first time) and the theatrical version, "Dr. Syn alias the Scarecrow" were all lovingly and painstakingly restored. So Disney has the various restored versions of the song and score in its vaults, just waiting for a CD release.
