Score kicks off with a really fantastic and uplifting theme song and then continues in a more introverted lyrical mode . Score is from a film by the great Ettore Scola who unfortunately passed away in January of this year. Armando Trovajoli scored all of his 30 films making this part of wonderful working partnership. This is a wonderful listen all the way through. Ag^Janus has returned! Yeah, I like Pianeti; it's rather different than his other genre scores which come from the same time period. Basically, keyboards, percussion and early electronics. This one sounds as if Gino Marinuzzi Jr wrote music for the BBC's first season of DOCTOR WHO ('63/'64). Amazing how Italians such as Trovajoli & Marinuzzi Jr could be very contemporaneous with what Tristram Cary was achieving with the Radiophonic workshop. I do not know much about this one, only that Verita Note published it and they only put out the cream. Are there any other Trovajoli releases on the horizon?
