I'll be there, or at the very least record it. Thanks for the heads up Joe!

I may be a bit biased, but these guys are super-talented and worth a listen.

The show broadcasts live (with streaming) here: http://www.kfjc.org/ at 9am-noon PST, Sat. April 29

Looking forward to it, Joe.

I just wanted to double check, though . . .

Today is Friday the 27th. So is the show Saturday the 28th or Sunday the 29th?

I was negotiating with Gerry Fried to orchestrate it for the oboe, and things got sticky. Maybe next time!

Joe has got to draw the line somewhere Jeff. Might as well be you.

I'm up early to head down to Foothill College, where I'll be a Patron of the Arts on The Norman Bates Memorial Soundtrack Show (again!) with host Robert Emmett McGlynn between 9am-12pm PST. We'll be spinning some offbeat TV show themes, songs and more---You can listen to live streaming at http://www.kfjc.org/netcast/index.php or catch it in the broadcast archive over the next 2 weeks...

Music from Intrada records gets some play on the radio as David Garland of WQXR (New York City's classical station) plays Henry Mancini's greatest hits. If you're on the fence about the new Breakfast at Tiffany's, or Charade, Hatari, or Days of Wine and Roses, you can get a spin and some commentary here:

These podcasts are only up for a few weeks, so listen as soon as you can!

I started working with Lukas in 1996, and 800 CDs later, I've retired from soundtracks. But tomorrow I'll be "settling scores" on the Norman Bates Memorial Soundtrack show with host Robert Emmett.
Tune in here:

or download over the next 2 weeks:

Should be fun!

You can take the man out of the soundtracks, but you can't take the soundtracks out of the man... smile

If anyone else got lost like I did, you need to go to this further link:

http://www.kfjc.org/broadcast_archives/index2_netcast.php

to get the last 2 weeks.

And don't search for "Norman Bates" on the page, like I did. Look for "Robert Emmett", and in the January 21 part.
