I remember LLL giving a list of composers whose albums they are releasing this year. But what I can't remember is who the composers are. Can somebody point me in the right direction?

He also said at a later date that the list wasn't a full listing.

Over 40 titles coming in 2012, according to MV, with four box sets (one since released), Volume 2 of "The X-Files", and here is the original December composer listing:

WILLIAMS
MANFREDINI
ELFMAN
GOLDENTHAL
NEWMAN
TIOMKIN
HOWARD
GOLDSMITH
KAMEN
MANCINI

I'd assume that if anyone did an expanded Star Trek: Nemesis, it would be Varese (I wouldn't be surprised if it popped up as a CD Club release at some point, but I have no actual inside info to indicate this).

I mean, if GNP Crescendo, which hadn't produced a soundtrack in a decade or so, can still hold onto the rights Star Trek: First Contact (as well as The Best of Both Worlds), I'd assume Varese would retain similar control over Nemesis -- not only Goldsmith's last Star Trek score but his last complete score released in theaters -- as long as they could.

Only one box set has been released as of this date, right?

The River Wild would be incredible. That's a great score.

Looks like we're doing this... smile

My hopes:

HOWARD - Flatliners
GOLDSMITH - Star Trek: The Motion Picture, The Ghost and the Darkness
KAMEN - Lethal Weapon collection, Die Hard with a Vengeance
MANCINI - The Great Race (assuming it's not one of FSM's remaining titles; also assuming it wasn't a typo where MV meant "Mancina")

Maybe the Mancini is one of his later scores (such as Franklin J. Schnaffer's swan song, Welcome Home).

GOLDSMITH (would love an Expanded Archival edition of L.A. Confidential (15th anniversary for the movie) or Chinatown)
KAMEN (More DIE HARD?)
MANCINI ???

Well, we already got one new Mancina this year with Speed.

How many titles would each composer have? Maybe we'll get another title from WILLIAMS, ELFMAN, NEWMAN?
