Track 10, NEL LABIRINTO and track 17, AGGUATO are of most interest to me on INTRIGO A LOS ANGELES. I'm wondering how much more of this dramatic underscore in provided on the new BEAT release?

Hey, ajhfsm, I got this BEAT album a few days ago, and the tracks from side 2 of the LP are all dramatic underscore (with the frist 7 tracks being straight-ahead-jazz).

Good stuff!

Next up, comedy with Totó.

Any impressions? Usually I stay away from comedy.

You can check the full movie on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3iBxDtrbag to get an idea of the music.

I adore Umiliani, but I have the impression this score is a bit too comedic and 'impersonal' for my taste.

Thanks for the link Gorbadoc I'm not into most of the comedy scores myself but some of them have great music it is always worth looking for samples. Sometimes it is not always easy to find and hear score samples in some of the films luckily many of these titles turn up as digital downloads on Amazon or on I tunes.

Other News SAE have relisted UN DOLLARO BUCATO (LIMITED REISSUE)
Superb score and expansion by Ferrio not to be missed I picked this one up first time already owned the older triple CAM cd Un Dollaro Bucato/ Sentenza Di Morte/ Vivi O Preferibilmente Morti.

The last score on that old cam cd is a comedy Vivi O Preferibilmente my least favorite Ferrio score I gave the Digitmovies expanded disc a miss, Hopefully they will expand Sentenza Di Morte next possible my favorite Ferrio western.

Not sure if this has been discussed yet, but these newly released discs are essential to any Umiliani fan;

Smog (temporarily out of stock at DG )
http://www.dustygroove.com/item/702650

Da Roma A New York
http://www.dustygroove.com/item/702652

These are from the RCA/rearward label and the CDs are packaged in a cardboard sleeve (it's a CD sized replica of the LP cover).

Speaking of LP, if you like, you can order the vinyl with the CD added as a bonus.

The original LPs typically cost a fortune on the secondary market.
