Anyone here heard the 2 score tracks featured on the Courageous soundtrack? Not sure if anyone on this board is even familiar with this film or its composer (independent Christian film made by mostly church members). Anyway, I've been a score listener all my life and quite honestly, I was pretty impressed with these two music cues. However, in the name of full disclosure, I am also a fan of this film as well…
Please, with that said, I really don't wish to open this post up to any bashing of this film (it has its share of critics). If it's not your cup of tea, then I completely respect that… I was only curious if anyone else here has heard the two tracks on the soundtrack, and if so, what were your thoughts?

2 tracks are not enough, I would love to have more!

Same here! I don't know a thing about this composer (as a matter of fact, I don't believe he's even credited on the soundtrack), but based on the music I heard on the soundtrack, I would easily rank him equal if not better than any of the other composers currently working in Hollywood today (excluding our beloved veterans of course)… IMO mind you.

He also scored their (sherwoods) earlier productions Fireproof (which I believe had more selection of his material), Facing the Giants, and Flywheel.

I just saw the film. I'm surprised there was a soundtrack release and that this thread existed!

Fine work by Mark Willard. The two tracks totals around 13 minutes, so there is quite a bit of score there.

Yeah, I like the score. Too bad it is only 13 mins, but better than nothing! I really like the samples to Fireproof as well. I gotta check that out.
