It's only a two-month loan deal, but it may very well be Henry's (AWN-REE's) final go around. Many athletes from my generation are already retired! Paul Scholes of Manchester UTD. fam also played this week in that FA Cup match against Manchester City. It's "old home week"!
I'm only a couple years into European Football, so it's been a major crash course...lots of history to catch up on.
It wasn't a great game and I thought Leeds were gonna hold out for the draw (they even had a few chances to equalise in the last 10 mins), but when TH came on he did what all the younger Arsey's couldn't do in the previous 75 mins. Find that space, cushion that ball and stroke it home perfectly like he's done for years. I'm not Irish, so I still don't mind him (I can understand how Rep of Ireland fans can never forgive him though) and it'll be good to see him strutting his stuff in our league for the next few weeks.

Damn right, Kev! I hope the cheatin', arrogant, smug git remembers he's not playing basketball. For the uninitiated, witness 'Hand of le frog'...
Nicely said, Thomas. Plus one here! Still a nasty piece of work on the quiet, as well - see that kick at a Leeds player when the ball had gone, down by the corner flag? Rooney was sent off for the same thing when playing for England.
He should have been booted into row Z as soon as he came on, even at the expense of a red card. If the press still want to talk about "Dirty Leeds" they should start to live up to it...
" lowly Bolton " ------------------------------ It's a good job old Oblicno isn't around these parts anymore. He would have bristled at that one!!
Is he still residing over in "Trudeau Turf"? He's more likely to be following the Winnipeg Jets than Wigan Athletic now!
Heck, even Blackburn have temporarily climbed out of the Relegation Gutter, thanks to the "genius" of Steve "Embattled" Kean! I never tire of listening to that guy give an optimistic appraisal of the side's most recent setback. Hard not to like the guy, what with the supporters chewing on his backside every minute.

I really hope Blackburn stay up this season, not that their fans (HA!!) deserve it, but just so Kean can look them all in the eye with a smug satisfied grin, as if to say "YOU KNOW FU(K ALL". They keep banging out the odd win or two which gives them hope. We'll see.

They got the result against QPR yesterday, and both they and Wolves are in danger of dropping down.
BTW, Henry scored a goal against Blackburn in that 7-1 thrashing last week.
Since I canceled cable, my Premier League viewing is limited to the odd online ESPN3 game on Saturday. I do miss ogling Hayley McQueen and Natalie Sawyer on SKY Sports, though.
I also love those "characters" they roll out for their expertise, like Barry Fry. He's so friggin' hilarious!
It was a well taken goal. That's Henry's final Arsenal game I think. Goes back tuesday. Delicious cross from Arshavin between two defenders - a man who has been a disinterested ball of fluff for most of the season.
3 goals in 6 games, 2 of which were deciding goals that won Arsenal the game. that is excellent considering how little he actually played in those games.
Otherwise Jim, a sorry weekend for me football-wise. Liverpool continue to get shitter and shitter - yes, we won a cup, but whoop-de-doo, the Mickey Mouse Cup don't count - AND!!!! we couldn't even beat Cardiff over 120 minutes
Hard to stomach, to see the mancs go top (the horrible ones, City I don't mind). C'mon you dozy sky blues, DO NOT LET THEM GET TITLE NUMBER 20 Shit, play Tevez if that's what it takes!!!
