The Black Hole is a much worse movie. And utterly fun-less, which can't be said for Howard the Duck and the even sillier Starcrash.
Just watched The Black Hole recently and it's far superior in every way. From production design, set pieces, model work, effects, performances and music. HTD is just awful. Cant even say its so bad its funny. Total cringe.
Yet, you plan on buying 3 discs of music?

Agreed. These movies are disaster areas. However, The Black Hole has wonderful, practical special effects, and an incredibly trippy sequence and the score is a classic. Howard the Duck is godawful in every respect except the fantastic Barry score. On the hand, Starcrash, while truly, truly awful, is one of the so bad it actually is entertaining and a great drinking game film (if I wasn't a teetotaler). Just mindblowingly bad, IMNSHO.
P.S. Some of my all time favorite scores are from stinkers. Its as if the composers were over, over, overcompensating.

Can't believe it includes the remix songs from the only LP was able to find way back then (hey, I was new to soundtracking, gimme a break!!!)
If it's Lukasfilm then I presume it should be a Disney property now, so fingers crossed!
