Yes, I was thinking about that main title sequence (and a few other places in the film).
Oh, well. We can speculate back and forth. Untill we've heard the original episode, or untill anyone who's seen it chimes in, we won't know for sure.
I edited my post, but I'm writing it again in case you didnt' see it.
The main title sequence in Ryder is an edit of 3-4 cues, 2 of which i have just identified (main title and ending cue of episode 3), so this is another element that leans towards the music being a re-use of episode's 3 score.
edit: ok, i have timings.
In the youtube video I posted above:
0.00-0.26 is coming from main title cue of episode 3 (it continues a bit there)
0.27-1.27 is coming from ending cue of episode 3 (it continues there too)
1.27-2.13 haven't identified it yet. maybe it's original music for the Ryker episode

I've never seen the original two-part "Case Against Paul Ryker" episode. But the first 90 seconds or so of Sergeant Ryker is pretty obviously a credit sequence created for the theatrical release, because it doesn't match the credit sequence of the other Kraft Suspense Theatre episodes. So when Universal re-edited the two-part TV show for theatrical release, someone likely grabbed Williams' music from "End of the World, Baby" to cover the longer title sequence, then tracked bits of it into the episode at various points.
Something similar happened when Universal released "Once Upon a Savage Night" as Nightmare in Chicago: the theatrical version features a jazz waltz over the (newly created) main title sequence that was composed by Stanley Wilson, not Williams, and which did not appear in the original TV episode.
Konstantinos is, I believe, correct about the "End of the World, Baby" theme being newly arranged for use in "War of Nerves," but who did that (Williams himself or a staff composer/arranger at Revue) is a mystery.

Thinking about this some more, another reason they might have tracked music into the movie (aside from the newly created opening and closing credit sequences) is to replace "act-outs" and "act-ins": brief cues that lead dramatically to (or welcome viewers back from) a commerical break.

it was a 60 minute episode, in which they added 40, and released as a TV movie:

i really don't know if all this information is legitimate.
i mean about the Williams involvement.
maybe they mention it in regards to the theme, because in the same book in an episode of amazing stories that is confirmed that it was not scored by Williams, they say again music by Johnny Williams.

Interesting. So should we hold off adding those entries untill more confirmation surfaces? I agree that in the first case, Mandel is probably the composer, and the book also lists Williams because of his theme.

it was cleared in this thread that Williams wrote some score too.
Do you remember the 2 screenshots Jeff Eldridge posted? 
also, maybe that heraclitus part 2 gets discarded too.
i don't believe they would get one composer for part 1 and another for part 2.
This probably was filmed and scored all together by one man, and splitted to 2 episodes due to time constraints.

Oh, that's my site. It still exists, it's just the host provider is still down (so only a cache will work)
The arranger credit came from an old news article reporting who scored it and that Williams was arranging it. I got otyher credits from FSM, some from IMDb, and episodes loaded to Youtube over the years.
