It's been maybe a decade since I've seen this movie, and I'm not sure it was really all that great... but is anyone here interested in this score being released? I certainly am.

Someone registered over at Intrada's message board and made a suggestion there. It's a very detailed, well-written post; I urge you to go read it!

[This is my first post, so hi everyone!]

I've been tracking this score down for years, and am _very_ interested in seeing its release. Its a wonderfully kinetic and thematic score, which far outstrips the quality of the film itself.

The music rights are currently owned by Bug Music, and they've expressed some interest in seeing a release.

Disney own the master-use rights, so hopefully Intrada can work their magic there.

The score --- recorded with the Tel-Aviv Symphony Orchestra --- sadly got a Phantom-Menace-esque hacking up in the film, and there are several cues (or parts thereof) which remain unused and unreleased. (For example, the track 'Revealing Digimon' on composer Udi Harpaz' site is actually an alternate).

I know the composers would like to see it released, and --- whilst it's no Spacecamp --- it shouldn't be too difficult to shift a couple of thousand copies.

Been preaching about this score (as well as others composed by Amotz Plessner) for the longest. Nice to know there are others in the pulpit. Exciting and fun music, though I think a 1000-unit release would be a little more realistic.

I too have tried to track the score down for a very, very long time. I even managed to pull samples from a place that I can't actually mention right now (no, I do not have possession of full recording sessions, although I do have a few samples of certain cues not on any website), and I have to say there was much more written for the film than what even was used, and that a lot of the music is very powerful, even without the movie to accompany it. A lot of tracks in the movie were indeed cut down (The analogy of Phantom-Menacing was curious, as I first made that comparison on another board after receiving said samples. I must know david322 on that board too).

After hearing those samples, there is no doubt in my mind that the score to this movie deserves a release.

Some of the tracks on Udi Harpaz's site are not actually cues recorded for the movie, but rather live takes of those cues.
