There is something so pretty and delicious about Jack Nitzsche main theme here, since i first heard it about 25 years ago i never could forget it.Any comments on my viewpoint?
My latest film music review in the Throwback Thirty series is for the 1984 epic existential drama THE RAZOR’S EDGE, based on the novel by W. Somerset Maugham, starring Bill Murray, and featuring a beautiful score from the late Jack Nitzsche.
I love this score. I urge anyone else who likes this to seek out the LP or CD of Nitzsche's of orchestral works, "St. Giles, Cripplegate." It is very filmscore-like. You'll like it.
