This presentation of Trevor Jones' score to THE SENDER came from a 1/4 " mono source found in the Paramount vault.

Why was this mastered from a mono source when the University of Leeds has the 24-track master of The Sender in its archive? confused

Very nice both releases especially Bad Girls! MV, keep going releasing more Jerry Goldsmith soundtracks..... It is obvious that people loves Jerry Goldsmith music!! I'm already waiting for the next Jerry Goldsmith release from your label!

Good action score by Jerry and a fantastic main theme but now....can we PLEEEEAAASE have some Williams for a change...?

How about some Delerue for a change?.....

Would love to but the Delerue we tried to get were all spoken for.

MV

Let me guess... Varese?

Maybe Jones has control over use of that Leeds tape and he didn't want to participate? He did the same with Dark Crystal, right?

THE SENDER is potentially the one I'm more excited about from this pair, but I want to get a better idea of how it sounds (musically and sound-quality-wise)...

For anyone who might be on the fence:

One of Goldsmith's very best of the 90s! Lazy in the 90s was he? HA! LOL

True, but I think LLL would come out with an Agnes of God reissue more quickly than Varese.

Glad to see some '90s Goldsmith getting some love from La-La in the last year or so. I loved the expansions of The Edge and First Knight, and eagerly await this.

Keep the Goldsmith coming! big grin

True, but that looks like Varese property through and through.

But I am curious as to what titles LLL was interested in releasing?...

It certainly wouldn't be appropriate, or respectful to the other labels, for MV to say.

I'm just glad that the labels are working on getting more Delerue released.

On this particular title, we were obligated to use the source material in Paramount's possession. That material happened to be only in mono, but very good quality mono, so we decided to make this score finally available as a legitimate, official release.
