And what exactly happened to Batman TAS? I can't find anything.

Nothing "happened" per se. WB launched their own music label and seemed less interested in putting out more Batman TAS stuff ... but even THAT was nothing more than conjecture, I think.

The point is that the hope was for the "Batman TAS" disc to be the first in a series of releases, but the WaterTower deal threw a spanner in the works, and it now looks unlikely that there'll be another (which is very disappointing).

Hopefully LLL will be able to make some kind of deal, not just for this but other unreleased WB scores. The 3-disc Human Target set was a good sign. (I believe that was a collaboration between LLL and WaterTower.)

Thats nothing more than conspiracy and conjecture. "I see nothing, and by seeing nothing, that proves I'm right!"

ScottDS's post makes more sense.

What Julian said is pretty close to what happened, which I learned from the LLL guys themselves. WB's Watertower music put a hold on releasing music from their shows and movies which had never before had official album releases, but this did not affect reissues or expanded editions of existing WB-owned soundtrack music.

On the last track on the third disc, mine starts to skip about 1:10 into it. I can't see any problems on the disc surface like a smudge or scratch (or cat hair). Has anyone else encountered this problem?

check the latter parts of this thread...it's a manufacturing defect and La La Land will send you a replacement-just send them an email. Not everyone got a bad disc 3 though (I did as well).
