Well I'm not interested in either of these titles, but its nice to see LLL releasing another Hans Zimmer score. I hope the relationship becomes a fruitful one with more releases......Black Rain, Bird On A Wire, a future Rain Man from quality source tapes........
I'm so glad you posted that gif movie from the Blob. That scene especially was done by the special effects guru Trey Stokes (I went to the same high school with him). Trey is well known on the web with his Star Wars spoof "PINK FIVE".
The blob/sink effect was nothing but a latex puppet and Trey's arm under the sink. Actress Candy Clark showed up during the filming of this scene and was intrigued as to how they were doing the effect. She went under the set and behind the sink only to see Trey and his puppet creation. Clark replied (as do all people when they find out the truth behind any illusion), "Ah, it's only a guy!"
I have noticed that CONGO is now OOP so I think we will see this one soon from LaLa as well.
Now that's a release I jump on in a heartbeat.
Not really interested in next week's releases. Good for those who want them though.
Agree with all the above but let us hope LIONHEART or THE GHOST AND THE DARKNESS get expanded releases before CONGO.
I think CONGO is more in need of an expansion than LIONHEART, that is (I think) already complete if you consider the two CDs previously released. In any case I'd love also a complete "The Ghost And The Darkness"
