Anyone else having the following Photobucket problem:

"We're doing a little work right now. Your image will be back soon."

Don't know. I switched to Flickr years ago.

Photobucket has repeatedly crashed my browser in the last few months. Maybe it's time I switched to Flickr too.

Sounds like it's just maintenance. Nothing serious. They did redesign their main page recently, I believe, so they might just still be working out the kinks. I wish they'd stop messing around with their site so much, though. Just when I get use to a redesign, they launch another one. I like Photobucket a lot more than Flickr, though.

Photobucket has a problem with my storing images of the cd covers to any Chuck Norris films. MIA 1-3, Delta Force and Invasion USA all get the terms violation "sticker".

I recently tried to upload two low rez pics on Photobucket and it kept crashing. Other pics I have uploaded mysteriously disappeared. Over all hate the redesign of the user end of the site as well. They have become over all clunky and bug ridden.

Anyone else having Photobucket problems today? It took forever to sign in on FireFox. (I can't sign in at all on Safari.) Once I am signed in, it takes for ever to click over to my "Library", then I try to select and click on a "Library" folder and it's just spinning its wheels.

SOLIUM:

Ever since Photobucket switched to their new format, I've had problems "saving" photos. Sometimes I have to click on "save" 20-30 times before the photos is saved. Sometimes the photos never are saved.
Photobucket is like Yahoo email---the more they "improve" it, the worse it gets.

That's right they have changed the interface haven't they? I bet that's why it's so buggy. I was able to sign in once but could never navigate to my library. Hours later I tried to sign in again to see if it was fixed and I couldn't even do that.

Ever since Photobucket's "upgrade" a couple of years ago I've been unable to search for images by title within my own album. The search function only allows searches of their entire public database. If I want to find a particular image that I've uploaded, I have to meticulously scroll through my entire album to find it. Totally ridiculous. Photobucket is pretty much worthless anymore.

Well another day and I still can't sign into Photobucket!

If you have kept copies of all those uploaded pics, or if you just want to change to something more reliable you might to try switching to "image shack". Been with them for years, no problem.
https://imageshack.us/

I'm assuming they have a European site as well.

( N.B. -I keep a separate folder with copies of all pictures I have uploaded.)

I was actually using Image Shack ten or fifteen years ago then switched over to Photobucket about six years ago. I haven't lost anything. I always have local backups. I was trying to upload some art some I could post it on forums. Maybe I'll give Image Shack another try.
