Josh, I used your text, hope that's okay? smile

I appreciate the nod… always love to see what other people can do with similar or same material — I have certainly done the same on this thread from time to time.

Thanks Josh.

Thanks for the kind words on these… Star Wars is such well-trodden territory I was a little surprised I couldn't find any covers like these already. Even after I made them, I was debating posting them because they would just be another set of Star Wars covers to add to the multitude.

I made a ton of Star Wars covers about 15 years ago, including back covers, using the multitude of alternate posters available. In fact, SW and LOTR are probably what got me into custom cover tinkering in the first place.

I took the existing releases as template, rather than going off in my own direction. I may post a sampling here if anyone is interested.

I'd be very interested in any Star Wars covers that you'd designed.

I really dig all these Last Jedi covers. I really don't get why Disney Records insist on keeping the artwork bland as water soup.

I'd hoped that someone would design a set of covers for the Original Anthology set using the original posters, I have tried but unfortunately I've never been able to get the posters to fit properly, unlike the ones that Josh did.
If anyone has ever made any for the four disc set, I'd love to see them.

They're attempting to evoke the “classic” original LP cover. Because I remember people would spend hours poring over this cover art searching for hidden meanings:

I can maybe get behind that for the first one, but all three? Let's use something interesting! The prequel covers had their lovely paintings on them. Let's move in that direction.

The Chantrell poster art is A1, Empire is also superb .... that Return format though is hellish and doesn't lend itself well to a CD cover, so nice and brave job on extending the edges to make it fit. Real difficult sizing and placing the logo too.

Thanks Chris.

Rafer, have you done any Innerspace covers? I would make my own but can't find decent scans.

B- and C-side covers for the Citadel release of The Midas Run:

Josh, thanks so much for the House: After 5 Years of Living cover -- that's something I never thought I'd get! (Same goes for your great Beauty and the Beast B-sides...thanks!)

Question: Are you sure there's a "The" before "House" in the title? The Eames disc doesn't say so, and neither does IMDb:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0048180/

I know you did it for being on with Midas Run, but I have it from the release on Elmer's own Amber records label:

Any chance you could do individual covers for the other released Eames scores Elmer did?

No, but the copy on the Citadel disc I have, which was what I was copying, says thus:

I kept the text to a minimum to preserve that artwork.

Wow. That looks like a 1980 Atari cartridge cover. I think that's a compliment...

Ah, my good ol' Atari 2600. Those were the days...

I'd have happily bought Innerspace The Game if it existed back then...

JTWfan77, oh the memories you've just triggered, the hours spent destroying Imperial Walkers, you couldn't beat them, but it was fun trying and Raiders of the Lost Ark, the graphics were simple but the gameplay, anything but.

I've lost count of the number of times I parachuted into that damn branch that protected the Well of Souls. oh the frustration.

Happy Days.
