Needed a cover for my iTunes playlist. So slapped this together. Kinda abstract.

Edit: Another quickie...

I absolutely love the custom covers you guys do!

I have borrowed with pride on more than a number of occasions!

After a bit of a favour........................I have been asked by a couple of friends to put together a cd compilation of James Horner and I would love to put on a custom made cover of James Horner as a memorial.

I am doing three cds - Animation/Childrens films, Adventure and Drama and then Sci Fi and Fantasy.

Would anyone be up for it?

Many thanks

Brendon

I forgot to mention that I too think Turbo's covers for the Bernstein rejected scores are fantastic! What would be really cool is if you continued with that theme for other Bernstein rejected scores that have been released (Last Man Standing had a pretty generic cover from Varese I think).

Yavar

Thanks Yavar. If you're still out there, I recently redid the formatting for the covers. Let me know which scores you're referring to and I'll give it a shot. Here's one for Last Man Standing.

Also, let me know if there are specific images you would like to include. I'd prefer they be at least 1000 px in height to make it work.

I also did an alternate for Last Man Standing rejected based on the Ry Cooder OST art. A bit of a rush job and not great resolution as I could not find a high quality image to base it on. Wish I could post it here but have no yet figured out how to post a local image onto this board!

Nice, but it's Christophe, no 'r' Beck.

He's Canadian.

This is a really cool cover but I made one small tweak. Tom Cruise on the bike is looking off the art (in the original) and it takes me away from the logo and credits. So I flipped him over so my eye's follows down the illustration towards the direction of the copy on the bottom left hand side. The bike drop shadow should probably be reversed with the light source of the explosion behind him, but that's more work than I care to tackle.

Slight change. I Didn't care for the figures superimposed inside "33". Found a similar font and redid the copy.

For my classes in desktop publishing I had to design something of choice, and apply a number of specified techniques. So I decided to have a run with the liner notes of FSM's "The Omega Man 2.0", and create a CD booklet. As it does not have to be printed, the pages are in reading order, and not in printing order.

If anyone is interested in taking a look, I stored it in PDF format on my website:
http://www.chriskepolis.be/The%20Omega%20Man.pdf

Comments, good or bad, are welcome.
