I would love it if someone could do a great cover for Poltergeist II. It's had many releases over the years, and while the Krizterland is pretty definitive it continues the long tradition on this score of having not the greatest cover art. Perhaps it's impossible because the available promotional materials aren't good or something, but if anyone is up to doing something better anyway, that'd be fantastic! Yavar

Need to change the wording on that last one. "Music From The Original Motion Picture?"

The album features music from the motion picture "Interstellar" I don't think the wording is wrong. I have seen it before on official soundtrack albums. It's the placement of “original” that is strange.

My copy of Rhino's King of Kings says "music from the original motion picture" I'd have preferred Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, but the cd producers thought different.

My copy of Rhino's King of Kings says "music from the original motion picture" I'd have preferred Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, but the cd producers thought different. I could do with a reissue of that one Chris, I missed out on it before. Sony reissued a few of their 'classic' titles a couple of years ago, but I believe that wasn't one of them. No, for some reason (best known to themselves) they didn't re-release King of Kings. I agree with you, this soundtrack should be re-released, it's as good a score as Ben-Hur and it would be great to have it available again.

Hm. My copy of King of Kings says “Original MGM Motion Picture Soundtrack Recording.” Odd that they'd change the cover text like that.

I agree with you, this soundtrack should be re-released, it's as good a score as Ben-Hur and it would be great to have it available again. The old Rhino MIKLOS ROZSA AT M-G-M 2CD set contained an alternate finale that didn't appear on the Rhino soundtrack. But there is yet another alternate finale, more complete and uncut than previously available on CD: listen to the following from about 4:00 to 5:12 ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=JWexkasa7iI In addition the first 2:50 represents an instrumental version of the theme that appeared on the Robert Ryan MGM LP, recorded by the MGM studio orchestra, later re-recorded by Rozsa in Nuremberg for Capitol Records. So yes I think a case could be made that KING OF KINGS deserves a complete reissue, remastered by Mike Matessino.
