Last week's release was a real doozy, too. Every once in a while when I think "maybe I'm a bit tired of these hours upon hours upon hours upon hours of Twin Peaks music now," something like the James/Evelyn bundle comes around and sounds so fresh and great. I can't wait until they've exhausted the archives so I can start arranging new full Twin Peaks albums for myself.

Going through some of the cues, it definitely needs some selection; some of the country/folk tunes are barely tolerable. I love mostly the darker & thematic material and of course the freshly squeezed cues. This library is really for Twin Peaks aficionados, great stuff

I'm trying to organize them into little albums/EPs. The RR Diner tracks are a perfect example--music that I would generally not listen to, so they get organized in a seperate "album" from the main body of work.
In case you've been putting this off until they were done, the *final* bundle of Twin Peaks Archive music has been released on DavidLynch.com. The final bundle also has a few Angelo Badalamenti tracks from another David Lynch show, "On The Air," which included some variations on a TP theme.
There's a lot of repetition in the archive, but a lot of really, really great unreleased material as well. Definitely worth looking into, and you can sample/stream full versions of any of the tracks on the site before purchasing.

Worth mentioning that the final release includes 10 fascinating demo recordings from the series and one - Questions In A World Of Blue - from the film, the latter featuring sublime vocals from Angelo Badalamenti. An incredible insight into the genesis of some of the finest score music ever recorded.

Just want to say that this is such a monumental project and one that I feel is a bit too under the radar for score fans to appreciate! But the music is out there for all to enjoy, definitely worth checking out!
Thank you everyone for posting about this. I have always been a fan of both the series and it's prequel film. The scoring is just classic. Full of great themes. Have some work to do...
For those who own the Twin Peaks archive files, has anyone made a track list or playlist they'd like to share? I need to make one myself but was hoping some of you already have suggestions!
OK, having revisited the series last week, I decided to finally start doing playlists for each season. It's so great to have this complete archive available.
