Did Amftheatrof's tracks to the original Major Dundee score survive? I know the LP/CD blends the music with the effects track for the most part so I was wondering whether a complete release of the original (which I happen to like) is a viable possibility or lost to the ages.

Do Columbia have ANY original music tapes from the 60's? As far as I can see they don't.

On top of which, the original LP was in mono whether marked "mono" or "stereo". On the stereo copy only the lousy sound effects were panned for stereo!

I was just listening to both versions of Dundee during my commute. So does this continue to be the case that these Columbia scores (Dundee, Cat Ballou, Professionals and Mackenna's Gold) are still considered missing? I don't find the replacement score for Dundee appreciably better -- just different.
