I just word from Yahoo that C.B.S. and Warner Bros. Television have decided to pull production on "Two And A Half Men" because of some ranting and raving Charlie Sheen made on Alex Jones' radio show. Comments, anyone?

Great show, but Charlie needs to get his act together. His lunatic ravings reminded me of a certain Mr. Gibson.

I find it funny that you have this situation where on the one hand Sheen is a respected comedic actor in what's basically cable TV's most profitable and formulaic sitcom, and on the other hand his private behavior is chaotic, outlandish and very immature to say the least. Things were bound to clash at one point. Midlife crisis?

Even Alex Jones looked freaked out hehe. I also heard one of Sheen's prostitutes, Kacey Jordan, on Stern last month and the guy has some real issues to deal with. He seems to have the same sex drive as Tiger Woods, but combined with drugs!

They should make a reality show about Sheen on HBO big grin

Call it misty-eyed nostalgia, but I can still fondly recall when performers used to die from their drug-abusing ways. Now, they just live on and on and on and on; and society continually rewards them and their hangers on with media attention, book deals and other profit-making schemes.

Don't take too long to die, Charlie.

Well, his TWO AND A HALF MEN character is very much modelled on his own person, of course (down to his name).

I've been thinking that, exactly, about Sheen. And I kind of think it sets a beneficial example for young people when a celebrity addict bites the dust. We need fewer druggie darlings and more cautionary tales.

A more appropriate thread title would have been "Charlie Sheen Goes Berserk" (again).

Maybe his old man will "pardon" him.

Wow, I've never really followed much of Sheen's work but, after reading his comments, I can safely say this guy is a Grade-A douchebag!

Never seen the show, but I'm glad that sheen's outrageous antics have finally met with some real response.

This is our official statement:

"Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of "Two and a Half Men" for the remainder of the season."

Silly Ass! He was clearing 1.5+ million an episode. The last I heard he was vacationing in the Bahamas with his ex-wife, girlfriend, and a porn star......What is it with these people?

Im going out on a limb here, but I would say Charlie is ten times more destructive than Mel Gibson.

I don't even watch the show (never appealed to me), but this is ridiculous.

If I'm not mistaken, Sheen is one of the highest-paid TV stars today (for essentially playing himself, if what I hear is true), and he really wants to piss that away?

And here I thought that Randy Quaid had the market cornered on crazy.

He started out with some promise. But yeah, he's a major league jerk and needs to go. Lots of TV shows have been able to go on after losing a lead actor.
