It's tied to Universal, so hopefully not a problem? Anyone else enjoy this score a lot? I have the Promo Score disc that has the score only without the dialouge and songs from the film. I too have wondered why it hasn't gotten another release. I was very unsatisfied with the poor album release with songs and dialog interspersed so I ponied up some real dough to buy an academy promo copy which is what the original album should have been. It fulfilled my expectations for the score and I enjoy it immensely. For those who don't have the rare promo (or its b**t equivalent) and really like this score, an expanded release would surely be most welcome. I was thinking of just getting the existing soundtrack awhile back, but with all the terrific reissues coming out these days, I decided to just wait and see if we get a better release. The DVD isolated score is not in '"CD" format.' It is reportedly two channel 192 kbps AC3 (Dolby Digital). But yeah, I'd take a good album version of this (score only) that contained the major highlights of the score. I haven't touched the previous release as it's a horrid mishmash, so would love it if someone like Intrada, La-La Land, or FSM could release a proper score album. For me, this is definately one of the great unreleased scores.
