Since April 2009 I've been having quite a bit of work done on my teeth. I wore Invisalign braces for 16 months. One cavity filled. Two root canals. Yesterday he extracted all three of my wisdom teeth (the fourth never came in). Even after the numbing drug wore off, I've experienced no pain at all. Only a mild throbbing sensation on two of the three affected areas. If I put the teeth under my pillow, I wonder if I'll find a soundtrack there in the morning! Find an experienced dentist and you should have few problems. You get what you pay for I guess.

I dutht webt to duh dedtist. By bouf ith dubb. Oh there, I've turned on the Numbed Mouth Translator. That's better. Yeah, the dentist this morning said he couldn't tell why I was having pain, maybe a crack. He sent me to the endodontist this afternoon, who took out the filling and found the crack. The tooth is toast. Next stop is oral surgeon to "inhume" the little guy. But all in all, I had no difficulty with how they did their work. I have no insurance yet, so I'm glad it didn't cost me nearly as much as I thought (so far, anyway). Yes, Adam, finding good dentists is the way to go.

Next stop is oral surgeon to "inhume" the little guy. Got the tooth out last week. The actual "reaching in and yanking out" took about 2 minutes with zero pain. (As opposed to when he inserted the hypodermic needle. THAT hurt.) Now it feels like I have a hole in the side of my face. I'm sure going to be glad when I can chew like a human being again. (I'll be getting a bridge, since it's the least costly option. I hope I can wait until I finally get insurance next year.)
