When La La announced it I was completely unfamiliar with this movie or the score. However, it being pre-titanic and directed by Friedkin, I thought it might be of interest. I checked out the samples online and it just wasn't my taste. So if the rest of the score is like this track then count me in Josh to those who will buy it. I guess I won't be inviting you guys to my Jade CD release party. I'm with you, Josh. This score is of a piece with works like PATRIOT GAMES and THUNDERHEART. I kinda like the minimalistic, synthy, side of James Horner. I'm not expecting a gem like Thunderheart or The Forgotten or even The Pelican Brief. But maybe an Unlawful Entry...but without the great main theme.
