And you can be sure than anything that hasn't been commercially released has been taken directly from the mixed film tracks. That's cheap for 4 discs!! Quoting Craig Spaulding from Screen Archives: “Just got a sample of the set and THE BIRDS is birds and effects from a film effects track not the isolated birds sounds, but kinda' funny. A MAJOR boot!!! One for the entire film is fascinating, as it seems to literally want to be Vertigo/Psycho. Having a community orchestra play it along with the film isn't that helpful, but every attempt fails, which is fascinating. It somehow lessens the suspense rather than help. Of the possible scoring videos, can you suggest a pecking order of good to bad? I know it might take alot of work but maybe you could wing it.
