Mornin' y'all! Good afternoon Mirrors 2 sounds cool, I can't wait to hear the samples. I wonder what titles will be part of the Spooktacular sale? And what happened to the 1200 unit LE? Pushed back to Oct 19?

ALIEN RESURRECTION - 2 disc set MV, you've made this old dog very, very happy. I first started listening to soundtracks in ernest in the late 1990s, in my last two years of high school. After I'd worn out the few I could afford from my after-school job, I went to my local library and went through their soundtrack section. Thankfully, our high school's local NPR station had handed over a good quantity of them as they had no interest in playing them. I can tell you the first ones I took out: Gerhardt's The Sea Hawk: The Classic Film Scores of Erich Wolfgang Korngold (Didn't "get" Korngold past the main themes for a while but this was a great recording), Gerhardt's Citizen Kane: The Classic Film Scores Of Bernard Herrmann (loved it immedeately, still one of my favorites), Newman's The Phantom (I could write an entire essay about this one - but I still love it intensely) and Alien Resurrection - so Frizzell's score has a big hand in my understanding and appreciating filmscore. The film... well, the less I say about it the better. But the score for Resurrection is fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. Ballsy, interesting, experimental - it has all the hallmarks of a really great action score. I cannot wait to hear "They Swim..." with the extra couple minutes in it!

I certainly plan on getting Alien Resurrection, but I don't want to order it by itself. Do we have true confirmation that Batman Returns is coming the week of the 19th? If so, I'll bundle them. For sure! No. We are hoping for a November release MV

I think a lot of people will rediscover this score and think better of it after a listen with older ears. I know I did MV
