LOST IN SPACE is a 2-CD set with some of John Williams' best music on it. $9.98 would be ridiculous. And I didn't get that email. The LLL website still says $15.98, so I'll believe this when I see it.

Prices are never "permanent" as far as I ever knew, so that's another thing that's odd here.

I know Basil is an okay guy; I just don't feel confident in this information.

Edit: "Starting 12 PM PST" might be why I don't see it yet.

Yeah, the price reductions don't go into effect for another 3 hours yet, once Dunston Checks In and Hell's Belles are released.

New prices are going into effect at noon today. We used the word "permanent" because these are not sale prices. These are the new retail prices these particular titles.

I agree about the quality of the music, but if I recall correctly, this release was a sales disappointment for them. They haven't sold nearly what they expected, which puts the kabosh on other Irwin Allen series releases. At any rate, lowering the price might help them clear out their stock. I may just pick up a second set to give to a buddy as a gift.

Technically it took awhile to get there but by years end we should be sold out of the 5000 unit run.

As of right now we have about 400 units left of the entire run.

Well this price drop finally mobilized me on two releases I'd been meaning to purchase, The Big Country and Lost in Space.
