Gregory Smith also worked on D3 with Redford and has a cue entitled "Finale" on his website:

This really would make an amazing box set. I was revisiting these scores this morning, and I think JAC Redford's D3 might have an edge over Newman's original score.

I'm really surprised Intrada hasn't cracked this nut yet.

Would buy in heartbeat--I actually got really excited when I saw this thread for a second because I was thinking maybe it was gonna happen...

I particularly remember the music in the opening credits and in the flashback scene from the Newman score as being poignant and the music from the final game as being very exciting. I never saw the 3rd one but I remember thinking D2 sounded very similar to the first and I was shocked to discover it was Redford and not Newman.

It's a shame Intrada didn't manage to squeeze this one out during their David Newman days.
I'm really grateful and appreciative for ALL the score CD's they did release by Newman though (and LLL).
It's a shame he doesn't sell as well as the likes of Horner & Williams & Goldsmith, as there are so many other great unreleased gems by him that I'd love to see given the official treatment.
I hope it's still on their future radar.
