Her work on Boston Legal is just top notch. On a show with all those emmy winners Bergen, Shatner, Spader, Clemmenson, etc she could steal a scene faster than anyone. .
The most recent resurgence is due to her appearance in the Sandra Bullock film, The Proposal. As for SNL, it was the same lousy writing that has plagued that show for its entire run, but Betty rose above every single one-note routine.
Betty White certainly deserves all the attention she's getting for her SNL appearance, but some recognition also should go to David Letterman's mother, who is the same age and did a great Top Ten list Friday night.
