Well I agree with Neil Bulk's statement on a podcast I listened to that he believes that this score was never really meant to be mixed in stereo. Its very conjested and hollow, and the sound quality of the film itself isn't much better even in 4-track. But does it sound better than the older cd? Yeah. At least when it comes to the end title.

I take it from Maurizio Caschetto's podcast on Monsignor/Minority Report/Disaster Movie Collection that the Poseidon transfer is the same as the 2010 La-La Land edition, remastered using 2019's suite of audio tools.
