Creepshow, maybe?

Creepshow uses some of the same stock tracks as Night of the Living Dead. wink

I don't think there's enough to warrant it's own release. It's mainly used in The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill and a couple of cues in Something to Tide You Over. I can't think of any more in the other episodes.

There's some great stuff in Father's Day as well, where Bedelia visit's Nathan's grave. And of course the afformentioned jukebox cue also used in Evil Dead.

I agree there might not be ebough to warrant it;'s own release. But then, I'd buy such a cd even if it only had 15 minutes.

@Untamed Aggression - You may now pre-order the CD along with Autopsy of the Dead at http://www.AutopsyoftheDead.com. Please contact us for shipping rates to the UK.

FYI, the general and producer e-mail addresses on the site bounce back mail.

So would I.

On a semi-related note, did anyone get Daemonia's re-recording of the Dawn of the Dead score? It rocks balls pretty hard.

It was released in Italy as an extra disc on the Dawn of the Dead dvd boxset. This boxset has all the cuts the American Dawn of the Dead boxset has, but the commentaries and the bonus material (including this re-recorded disc) are different.

The re-recording is much more metal oriented, but I was surprised at how these tracks still sound good in a modern jacket.

@drivingmissdaisy - Got your message, Peter, and sent you a quick reply.

@Untamed Aggression - Both e-mail addresses work, the messages just aren't being forwarded to my regular account for some reason, so it appears they are being returned to you. Your e-mail has been received and I'll reply shortly with shipping rates.

It's also included with the Daemonia: Live in LA DVD, in case you don't feel like buying Dawn of the Dead for 300th time.

The gig is fairly amateurishly put together, edited by Claudio Simonetti himself and seemingly using every single transition available in the software package. But the music's good and it has an epic 9 minute music video for their cover of Profondo Rosso.

Cool. thanks for the info. We have the same extras on the US boxed set, but minus the cd. I'll see if i can find some tracks to sample on youtube.

Re: Creepshow. You have my attention! That would be so great....

I did not know this. I might check this out, I saw some footage of their current lineup on youtube and would love to see them perform live.

At first glance it would seem so, but the Italian boxset also includes Italian commentaries by Argento and people who worked on the European cut, the only downside is they are in Italian and I can't understand a word they are saying big grin

Dudes! I love Profondo Rosso as much as the next guy, but let Claudio Simonetti get his own thread. wink

I was thinking that, I kinda derailed it slightly. Sorry. I'm just glad the gaps in my Romero soundtrack collection are finally being plugged.

Well played, Zero Day. Well played.

No harm done, UA.

Btw, I just figured out why messages are bouncing from my account: someone who share remain nameless **cough** Peter Hackman **cough** just forwarded over 20MB of photos from the HorrorHound show to my lowly mailbox. I think it's busted. big grin

Just to clarify... this release doesn't contain all the music used in the movie? I read that the short cue that plays when the ghoul approaches Barbara in the cemetery couldn't be found, but is that the only cue missing? Either way, I'm very excited to receive this! I've had it pre-ordered since early April and it will definitely be worth the wait! big grin

Whoah...that would rock.

Hope that this side of your business is lucrative enough for you to become an up and coming soundtrack label. There is always room for more scores, especially the ones you guys seem to be into!
