I don't remember much about it except:

It was on Saturday afternoons syndicated in the early '90s.

It had two guys and a woman as the leads: one dark-haired guy who was kind of Michael Biehn-ish, but wasn't; a red headed guy who was balding, and a chick.

They went on adventures and were sort of a spy team or paramilitary group.

The only lines of dialogue I can remember about it was the chick making fun of the red-headed guy's lack of hair and he responded with "Grass doesn't grow on a busy street."

I know I've provided so much information, but if anyone here knows---spill it!

It's not bringing anything to mind at the moment, but I can say it's definitely not Viper or Cobra. It could be the revamped Viper that aired in syndication after Season 1, as the show was drastically retooled and recast, but I never watched that version.

The early- and mid-90s had quite a number of syndicated action/adventure series, but only a few of them I can recall from having watched them. This one doesn't sound familiar to me from that description, but anything else you can maybe recall might jog my memory.

It wasn't the shows you named, william711 but thanks.

Judging from those opening titles, either the 1980s lasted well into the 1990s or Canada never left the '80s!

COUNTERSTRIKE sort of fits the bill, but I don't see the red-headed guy in any of the few promos on youtube.

As for the show I remember precious little about, I think that one of the team emerging from the ocean in scuba gear during the opening credits. Maybe they weren't agents but rather treasure hunters?

Or Sweating Bullets, as it was called Stateside?

(Maybe it was Acapulco H.E.A.T?)

This might be it. It sure looks and sounds crappy enough! The theme song reeks of Nash Bridges hokum. There is a guy with a hairline in retreat but I don't remember Fabio or a touped-up John Vernon(!) being in this.

And in seeing this video for the show reminds me once again that the 1980s never ended in Canada or that the 1990s never really got started. No wonder I've spent the last two and a half decades with 1985 as my cut-off date for TV shows...

Nash Bridges was a far superior show to Acapulco H.E.A.T., which was really just made to be a cheesy spy-adventure series with hot people in bikinis. Haha!! But it's funny, while I actually watched Acapulco H.E.A.T., I also never saw Fabio. He played the owner of the hotel they were based out of, and I think he only appeared in the premiere episode, and for some reason they just kept him in the opening credits.

The second season, when they revived the series a few years later, was pretty crappy, but the first season was just harmless dumb-fun entertainment, though I mostly watched it just for the super-sexy Alison Armitage. big grin

It's seven years later, and sadly yes, it was Acapulco Heat. Thanks to CindyLover (and everyone else) for the help.

The red-headed receding guy is over on the right side of the picture, right above Fabio. LOL!

On that note, did anyone here ever actually hear Fabio's album?

Fabio looks a lot like French football legend Zinedine Zidane in that cast photo (minus the lion's mane, of course)!

The mane is the source of his power.
Cut it off and he's nothing.

If you'd ever seen Zidane in action--for better or worse--you'd know the reverse was true.

Hell, Fabio got hit in the face with a pelican, didn't he?

Here are the opening credits:

Catherine Oxenberg was in this show? She looks pretty good here!

Brendan Kelly is the receded guy--born in Ireland?
