Now that Intrada released all Michael Winner titles and almost all Peckinpah titles, what's left of Fielding "film music"? From Bay Cities compilations, there are two remaining titles: "Johnny Got His Gun" and "The Gambler". From Sam Peckinpah, there is still one last title: "Junnior Bonner". From Clint Eastwood as a director, a regular "The Outlaw Josey Wales" is needed. From Clint Eastwood as an actor, find "Escape from Alcatraz" directed by Don Siegel. What other titles did you think of?

A War Of Children Beyond the Poseidon Adventure Mr Horn You mentioned two television scores ("A War Of Children", "Mr Horn") and one film score. These television scores were in the Bay Cities compilations.

Fielding wrote music twice for director Michael Ritchie. "The Bad News Bears" (1976) and "Semi-Tough" (1977) What do you think of these scores?

The McHale's Navy movies were films apart from the series, not compilations. I'd love to see a complete "Gauntlet" and the score to the TV anthology episode "Noon Wine".

What frustrates me about all Fielding releases is that they all sell out in a matter of days. Certainly it leaves people like me with close to no chance to get them. To this day, I haven't been able to get one limited Fielding release. Alex That's because a few people on eBay bought massive amounts and have literally been selling them for about a year, repeatedly. It was the worst case of buying to resell that I've seen yet. Now the poor economy and lack of demand have resulted in lower prices, and Chato's Land and Nightcomers frequently end at aroud 15-18 dollars.

I see that guy from Alaska selling off Intrada CDs all the time, and the same sold out titles always pop up over and over and over, and quite a number of them don't sell for more than $15. Heck, I've seen lots that have just barely made the $10 mark by the auction's end! It's a good thing for me, at least, because I missed out on 6 out of the 10 total Fielding discs that Intrada has released. I can at least get Scorpio, Chato's Land and The Nightcomers for cheap. The remaining 3 will be more of a challenge. By the way, Gray Lady Down is still available, Alex.

A re-release of Advise and Consent would be most welcome in the future...that and there's a bunch of TV work of his.

By the way, Gray Lady Down is still available, Alex. What's up with that one! A Fielding is a Fielding and there isn't many of them. Itunes release. SCOTT

If you can root it out of Eastwood and Malpaso productions, ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ may see a release in the year Never. Not much score there, though
