A Reader's Digest Presentation in association wirth Potterton Productions Inc.

-The feature itself is only 25:58 long. Goodwin scored two other Potterton productions, both released on LP: THE LITTLE MERMAID (1974) Capital EMI SQ6417, and THE HAPPY PRINCE (1974) Capital EMI SQ 6426.
THE REMARKABLE ROCKET (1974) was scored by Howard Blake. THE CHRISTMAS MESSENGER (1975) was scored by Jeff Wayne. Neither received an LP release.

- I'm still hoping that FSM might be able to release these 3 animated gems since they seem to have a good relationship with the Goodwin estate
And now that I have typed that all out, I see that the track listing is already available at www.rongoodwin.co.uk

I would love to see a release of The Christmas Messenger on either CD or DVD (preferably both!). I play my battered video of this every Christmas and every time I'm enchanted by both the animation and Jeff Wayne's lovely little score.

I Play my "Last Christmas" CD by Sir George Michael, then watch OHMSS during the consumption of excess booze.

Well, the LP credits "Ron Goodwin and His Orchestra", along with the King's Singers; music recording - John Richards, engineer - Richard Lewzey. Looks like it was recorded in England. VALHALLA was recorded in Copenhagen, if that helps.

All fhree of those need to be reissued on CDs!
Anyone has any idea what are the chances?

Or is anyone at least familiar with the other two? I'd love to hear (more about) these three...

I have all three Goodwin LPs and converted them to CD. All are beautifully orchestrated and performed with memorable themes.
I would like to see these re-issued, and if possible, include the music only tracks as well, as was done on the Howard Blake THE SNOWMAN CD. Most tracks contain the narration from the films.
The Goodwin estate might have the LP masters, but would they have the music-only tracks?
