How much you would peg its worth at; $120, $150, over?

Yes I know it's a highly claimed score, one of Christopher Young's best. But I am curious to know how much people would pay for such an item.

$50 for The Core. I hope it gets some kind of release from intrada in the future. I sadly missed the chance on getting that promo that was attached to The Tower. Speaking of Young, I'd love to see Urban Legend and Virtuosity get a release; a re-release for Flowers in the Attic would be nice.

no score is worth over $100... well, I'm sure there are, but I wouldn't be willing to shell out anything over $50 for it.

I hope Intrada can give it a proper release at some point in the future. It's a good score but I aint paying £100+ for it.

Count me in as someone else who would like to see this score be released again. I missed out on previous issues, but like Chris Young's music very much.

I wouldn't pay over $50 as I've only paid in the $40 range a couple of times for several promo releases. Anything over that I can just wait or probably just won't ever get it. I do have this score from a source I won't mention and it is one of only two that I have in this fashion. In any case, this is a big score for a fun sci-fi throwback movie that really deserves to be available to fans of Chris Young on a broader base than the promo (that I somehow missed out on).

I remember purchasing mine through a record shop in London. I think I paid about 30 pounds for it. I haven't listened to it in a long time.

I do not like to speculate or ask, but the release to THE CORE is just too good. I have heard it, but I do not own one of the original composer promo's. INTRADA ? You seem to be on pretty good terms with Christopher Young. Any chance of this seeing a 3000 copy release any time soon ? I really love it and would like to own it, but 150.00 is pretty steep for a CD.

Or you could instead of paying this amount, just email a very nice and polite letter to Mr. Young asking if they could spare you a copy and you won't resell it for $200.00

webmaster@officialchristopheryoung.com (I think that still works)

or use snail mail, the information is right here

You'd be amazed at what a polite letter will get you.

It's a bootleg. Do not buy it. An official one will most likely be coming you way soon

WOW !!! That would be OUTSTANDING ! I am going to try and stay out of the fray, but let the speculation begin ! THE CORE (2 CD Set) would be fabulous.

Not to worry. I shan't spare a dime for dubious releases. That includes the Damnable Harkit. big grin

What does that mean? Only 1000 of these exist and they were originally free.

Yes, that's true. I did get mine for nothing come to think of it. Well I'll resist the temptation. I can't image LLL's version being any better than the promo.

As I understood it, Intrada only ever gave them away with The Tower.

Some copies did make it to certain record shops. I bought mine in London when it was originally released.
